Ice Cream At The Lake
We're giving a big shout-out and thank you to Jerry, Aggie, Sally and Sandy for hosting a delicious ice cream and cake party at the lake. We were served chocolate and vanilla ice cream, brownies, Texas sheet cake and various toppings. Did I mention homemade??? Oh yes, homemade! Are we lucky or what!

Bocci Ball Tournament
March 8 was a perfectly gorgeous day for a Bocci Ball Tournament!
Marie took charge of grilling the hotdogs - which were delicious!
Angie is watching over the games.
So glad Jerry could stop by!
Coach Firestone is in charge.
Ever played bocci ball? The game dates back to the Roman Empire. First you toss the little white ball (called the "jack"), and it must go past the middle line. Then players toss their balls to see who comes closest to the jack while obeying a few other rules. Team with their colored ball closest to the jack scores points for each round. It's a lot of fun.
Winners this year were (l to r) second place team Chris Hurst and Mary Wharton; first place team Jim Sellards and Jennifer McKaufsky; and third place team Barbara Viele and Skip Wilson.
