Merry Christmas!

Long about late October each year Allen starts working on this beautiful Christmas display. He does the work, and we get to share in the beauty! Thank you Allen! We love it!

Things To Do on a Lovely December Day

Well, you can go for a quick spin around the lake,

Or sit and visit on the dock after your power walk,
Or work on your boat,

Or do a little fishing

Or you can just visit and watch Norm take knots out of his rope. Honest, I was laughing too hard to take a picture! But it happened!

Come on down and visit us anytime!

Clubhouse Party

Congratulations Bernie and Aggie on your 65 years of wedded bliss!

Thank you to all the volunteers including Nancy, Sally, Peg, Margaret, Shirley, Arlene, Heidi, Paula, Joan, Jean, Sandi, and Carol.

The Clubhouse looked beautiful!

Pretty Yards

We don't have "Yard of the Month" here in Griffwood, but if we did, here are a couple of beauties that would qualify.

Lucille recently installed a rock garden. It looks so neat!

Arlene's flowers are just glorious!

Memorial Day

We at Griffwood trust you will take a moment to remember all those on whose shoulders we stand. Please remember all our protectors and defenders who have given their lives that we may live free. And please say a prayer for the safety of our men and women on battlefields around the world.

Enjoy the day!

Trip to Spillway

A gang of us boated over to the Spillway Marina for lunch today.
Ed piloted Ben and Arleen's boat while Margaret, Heidi and Ben looked on.

Ham and Alice and friends were ahead of us.

Some of us dined outside. Some in. But all agreed the food was great!

This was a great day for a boat ride!

Mother's Day Luncheon

It was a lovely Mother's Day here in Griffwood today. Lots of moms had visits from their children, and some went away to visit. Carol (center) invited (clockwise) Helen, Arlene, Margaret and Lucille over for lunch. Annie came but had to leave early. We had a wonderful time! Food was great; company was even better. And, Margaret brought a gooseberry cobbler and Arlene brought homemade bread pudding. Fantastic day!

Ann's family joined us for a boat ride Sunday afternoon.

Tessa really did enjoy the ride!

She saw turtles, gators, a polar bear, a zebra and an octopus!

Torey was a great gator spotter!
